As we stare into the eyes of our 22nd year in business and continue efforts toward a $165M sales goal, it’s hard to believe that just a few short years ago we were a small business with only 40 employees striving toward $50M in annual revenue. Three years ago our building was deemed too small for our growing company; our sales and customer service departments became a maze of cubicles latched together in a cluster of chaos and our warehouse was busting at the seams with over $35M of inventory. Today we’re in a 44,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility just down the road from our former location. We now possess over $60M in military aircraft parts inventory and 125 on-site employees in addition to seven overseas offices and representatives in 24 countries. Looking back, we are thrilled to see our exponential growth…and we’re nowhere close to being finished.
None of the aforementioned growth would have been possible had it not been for our loyal customer base. This loyalty is a direct function of the unparalleled customer service we bring to each air force we service. Turkey is a prime example. Our co-founder, Evren Ergin, a Turkey native, started Aero Precision from his home with distribution of Honeywell products to Turkey, our very first customer. We’ll always be grateful to the Turkish Air Force for those early contracts, and we’re equally thankful for the opportunities for support that we provide to Turkey today. Over two decades later, Aero Precision, now a Greenwich AeroGroup company, is an established leader in the supply of OEM systems and aftermarket aircraft spares and repairs in over 60 countries, providing aftermarket support for military aircraft avionics, electronic systems, engines, and a range of other defense products. Aero Precision is ISO 9001:2008 SAE AS 9120:2009 certified.
