At the meeting held at Hilton Garden Inn, Aselsan’s demands from the sub-industry companies it cooperates with were defined in detail. OSTIM Organized Industrial Zone’s President of the Board of Directors Mr.Orhan Aydın delivered the initial speech of the workshop and said, “Aselsan is a crucial institution for OSTİM. And we, with our sub-contractors in the projects, are significant for Aselsan as well. We adopt an understanding of high quality in OSTİM. We have the capacity to manufacture qualified products and our organization is composed of companies that have the capability of fulfilling the requirements. In order to achieve success, we need to consider the created eco-system as a whole”. 

Following Mr. Aydın, Aselsan’s Vice President Mr. Hezarfen Oruç took the floor and stated that with the successful cooperation formed, Turkish Defense Industry was a step ahead of the other sectors. Mr. Oruç thanked the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries for enabling the synergy amongst the institutions and continued, “For sustaining its existence, Aselsan needs to continuously make a profit. Then again, with all its employees, Aselsan assumes a mission beyond just driving profits. I must say that as Aselsan we embraced the understanding of offering innovative and reliable products and solutions with high added value to all our clients, Turkish Armed Forces being in the first place, as a mission. We are aware of the fact that through contributing to reducing Turkey’s foreign dependency in technology and by expanding our brand recognition in a global scale, we can reach our targets and therefore become the source of pride of our country. Undoubtedly, all our solution partners are embracing the very same mission. This approach lies beneath this unique success. We wish to have not only the Aselsan employees but a cluster with hundreds of thousands of members in the background of the products we develop and produce for fulfilling the demands of the Turkish Armed Forces”.
