The Aselsan Board of Directors decided to appoint Board Member Bayram GENÇCAN as the Communication and Information Technologies (CIT) Sector Chairman and Deputy General Manager as of February 5, 2019 after Yavuz BAYIZ’s retirement. GENÇCAN will also continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. The other hand, the Business Development and Marketing Department was structured to be the Directorate. Business Development and Marketing Director Osman Devrim FİDANCI was appointed as the Deputy General Manager as of February 1, 2019.

In the statement made by Aselsan, the following was recorded: “In order to support our strategy on export-oriented growth, which is one of the most important elements of our company’s organic growth potential, and to compete more effectively with global players, it has been decided that the Business Development and Marketing Department is to be structured as a Directorate.”
