BMC previously manufactured and delivered 2.5 ton (4x4), 5 ton (4x4) and 10 ton (6x6) tactical vehicles according to NATO standards for the operational requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces. In particular, the mine resistant armored vehicle known as the “Walking Castle” was manufactured and readied them for mass production. The vehicle successfully passed mine, improvised explosive devices (IED) and ballistic tests and was nicknamed the “Porcupine” by the Land Forces Command. The vehicle’s high protection level against ballistic threats and mines eliminates all types of threats that may arise. The vehicles are completely up to NATO standards and within the request and calls of the Turkish Armed Forces, are manufactured at BMC’s fully integrated military vehicle production facilities and manufactured with Turkish engineer and employee labor.
