Eurosatory, organized by COGES, is the world leading event dedicated to land & Airland Defense and Security. The event provides a unique time-effective opportunity to meet in a single place all the land & airland Defense and Security manufacturers, to discover the latest technological innovations in domains and to help exhibitors and visitors to expand their professional network, to prospect new markets and to generate business opportunities. In 2016, the exhibition gathered 1,571 exhibitors from 57 countries, 57,024 international visitors from 140 countries including 212 Official Delegations from 94 countries and 8,217 representatives of the armed and security forces from 103 countries.

Eurosatory is a biennial meeting not to miss in order to meet buyers, decision-makers, technical purchase advisors, military and Security forces users from all over the world. Eurosatory represents an unrivalled opportunity to meet all the international players of land & air land Defense and Security domains: prime contractors, system designers and integrators, sub-contractors, but also high level and highly qualified visitors: Defense and Home Affairs ministers, general directors of police, gendarmerie, customs, private security representatives (industries, leisure venues, sports events…). 

In 2016, Eurosatory hosted 179 “Eurosatory Guests” from 28 countries. These experts, officials, responsible for programs, procurement, R&D, test centers are selected by Eurosatory for their specialized knowledge in the Defense and Security domains. Almost all the countries with Defense and Security industry are presented: 57 countries including 36 with a national pavilion. The Turkish delegation attending the exhibition comprised many high-level officials, including the Ambassador of Turkey to France, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Deputy Undersecretary for Defense Industries, the Head of Quality and Strategic Management Department at SSM, and the Head of the International Cooperation Department at SSM. In total, 361 Turkish visitors came to Eurosatory 2016 that represented an increase of 11 % compared to the 2014 Eurosatory event. 

Eurosatory places itself in a scalable dynamic, which enables to attract exhibitors and professional visitors, which are always more numerous and qualified, thus ensuring great results and opportunties for participants.

Before all, Eurosatory is a business platform which brings together business, industry, policy experts and media to meet each other, to exchange their views, to scrutinize the D&S market and to identify business opportunities and prospects. The latest D&S Trends and Technology Innovations 

Eurosatory is a technology fair where manufacturers and research institutions present their new products, but also some extremely innovative technologies with a very high technology readiness level offering prospects of medium and short-term opportunities for production synergies. With the unrivalled number of equipment and weapon systems truly on display (indoor exhibition area of some 102,390 sqm and an outdoor area of more than 50,000 sqm), Eurosatory is the leader in its domain. 

The exhibition is described as the place to unveil new technologies in a world premiere venue. No less than 500 new products or services were identified at the previous 2016 session of Eurosatory. Many exhibitors take advantage of the exhibition to launch their novelties in world premiere manner, insuring exceptional media exposure and rousing interest from visitors.

Among its exhibitors in 2016 Eurosatory hosted 29 Turkish companies. 15 companies participated at a national level and opened their stands in the Turkish pavilion: ASELSAN, ELSİS, Garanti Giyim, Katmerciler, Makel, MKEK, Menatek, High-Tech Port by MÜSİAD, Öztek, Repkon, TEPAŞ, Transvaro, Yakupoğlu, and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TAFF) and OSSA. Some Turkish companies, such as BMC, Otokar, Öztiryakiler and ROKETSAN had their own separate stands. Turkey possesses one of the most dynamic Defense & Security industries. This reflects on its presence at Eurosatory: the number of Turkish exhibitors and the surface area of their stands grows every year with each edition of the event.  In 2016, the total surface area of Turkish stands was four times greater than for the 2008 edition (2,337 sqm and 590 sqm, respectively). 

The exhibition takes advantage of a strong audience, enabling manufacturers to target a large professional public. To help manufacturers to highlight the numerous technology innovations presented during the exhibition, several tools are offered by the organizer: official catalogue, website, press center, show dailies, live demonstrations.

Forum for Ideas

Bringing together business, industry, media, and policy experts in the domain, Eurosatory is a center of reflection where the future of a safer world is being prepared. For the 2018 session of Eurosatory, over 80 high-profile conferences are expected with more than 200 international notable speakers and 3,000 attendees in total. They will study D&S topics, present innovative products and make economic and strategic analyses. As in previous years, Eurosatory 2018 will invite highly qualified and motivated professional visitors from five continents. The audience will comprise international decision-makers and institutional users.  

New in 2018

In 2018, Eurosatory will innovate and improve the organization of the exhibition. Two major changes: the opening of the hall 5B dedicated to Security and a new live demonstrations area. The new hall 5B of 8,130 sqm completes the indoor exhibition area of Eurosatory and will be dedicated to Security issues. The main entrance for people coming from car parks will be located at this hall. The entrances to the Halls 5A and 6 for people coming by train through the esplanade will stay unchanged.

The live demonstrations zone will be moved on the area close to the exhibiting halls. Everybody will be able to come by foot to watch live demonstrations: a guaranteed time savings! 

Moreover, Eurosatory 2018 offers a new international thematic event dedicated to CBRN issues and organized with the participationof French and foreign Ops Officers, exhibitors from the defense and security domains, State representatives, experts and VIPs.
