The 11-hour flight test with the CATS Electro-Optical Sensor System integrated into the ANKA-S platform was conducted in Batman under the coordination of Turkish Air Force Command.

According to the December 2021 edition of the a-bulletin published monthly by ASELSAN, test activities of CATS with two munitions were completed. CATS was developed by ASELSAN and the project was launched by the Presidency of Defense Industries.  The Air Force and Presidency of Defense Industries declared that the performance of the CATS Electro-Optical Sensor System is sufficient to fulfill operational activities. Following the successful completion of Batman flights, CATS EO Sensor System acceptance tests will be conducted over ANKA-S configuration, upon the request of Turkish Air Force Command.
