A“Cooperation in Training Protocol” was signed between Havelsan and Ataşehir Adıgüzel Vocational School in Istanbul. Within the scope of this protocol, Havelsan will be preparing joint projects for the first time with a Vocational School and providing employment support to the students of the school.
Within the scope of the “Cooperation in Training Protocol” the objective is to train qualified human resources required by the sector, decrease the cost of human resources and to contribute to the economy of the country. Havelsan and the Vocational School’s Academicians agreed to plan the curriculum of the Computer Programming course of the 2018 – 2019 academic year and to enrich the contents of the courses and to build the course curriculum by taking into consideration related requirements and expectations. Opportunities for internship will be offered to successful students of the training, and Havelsan will be offering full time employment to students who accomplish in business life, while it prepares the qualified human labor force in accordance with the requirements of the industry. The Computer Programming Program students will seize the opportunity to specialize in specific areas at a pioneering technology enterprise.
Vice Chairman of the Board of the Trustees of Ataşehir Adıgüzel Vocational School, Ebru ADIGÜZEL TUNABOYLU and the Director of Ataşehir Adıgüzel Vocational School, Prof. H. Rıdvan YURTSEVEN stated that it was crucial for them to prepare their students for the industry with the help of the leading companies of Turkey. With the course content they prepared in line with the target of being a Vocational School and the Cooperation in Training Protocol that Havelsan signed with a vocational school for the first time is a success, demonstrating that they are close to the industry and their industrial cooperation will continue for all the programs.
