Havelsan has been working as a system software development and system integration sub-contractor for Atlas Company – the producer of ISUS 90-72 Integrated Underwater Command Control System producer of New-Type Submarine Project. Factory Acceptance Tests of Combat Management System developed within the scope of these studies at Havelsanhave been successfully accomplished and it has been delivered to German Atlas Electronic Company right on time according to the program schedule. Within the framework of the program, Havelsan is responsible for the following activities: development, improvement, modification and maintenance of software packages regarding the Combat Management System of Submarine Integrated Command and Control System (ESKKS), ISUS 90-72, establishment of a Land Based Test System (KKTS) and development of an integrated underwater system software. 

The project covers the construction of 6 New Type Submarines with air independent propulsion system. The submarines will be constructed at Gölcük Naval Shipyard with the participation of local industry and through the material packages to be supplied from the contractor. Aselsan, Havelsan, Milsoft, STM A.Ş., KoçBilgiveSavunma, TÜBİTAK, MeteksanSavunma and IDS will take place in this Projectas local contractors.The project launched on 22 June 2011 and is intended to be accomplished by 2023.
