Ahmet  Hamdi Atalay  was  assigned  as  a  General  Manager  at  Havelsan as a successor of Sadık Yamaç. Following his career at Netaş as a Member of the Executive Committee, Board Member of Information and Communication Technologies Authority, Board Member at Havelsan Executive Committee and President of the Information Security Association, Ahmet HamdiAtalay started working as the General Manager and CEO at Havelsan on August 4th, 2015.

Atalay was born in Trabzon in 1963 and graduated from the Yıldız Technical University’s Department of Electronics and Communication in 1984. Atalay worked as a Design Engineer in Teletaş Company between 1985-1986, as a Netaş Quality Engineer/ Manager between 1987-1998 and as the Netaş Wireless Systems Manager during 1998-2004. Atalay was the Board Member of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority for the period 2004-2010 and as of 2010, he acted as the Executive Committee Member of Probil / Netaş. Atalay also worked as a trainer and auditor on the Total Quality Management at the Quality Association (KalDer) and conducted the Presidency of the Information Security Association (BGD) as well.
