Mr. Sadık Yamaç graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU) with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 1988. He received his M.Sc. from the same department of the university in 1991.
Mr. Yamaç started his career at the Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) as an assistant expert in 1988 and worked as an expert at Undersecretariat for Defense Industries (SSM) between the years 1990-1996. Mr. Yamaç worked as advisor to the Prime Minister of Turkey between 1996-1997. Mr. Yamaç continued his carrier as Project Manager at SSM between the years 1997-2002. After his service at SSM, Mr. Yamaç was assigned as Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement and worked there until September 2009. From September 2009 to April 2012, he worked as Deputy Secretary General of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, responsible for the technical affairs.
