A protocol agreement has been signed by TAI and Gazi University for the vocational school that will be built on the land which was allocated to Gazi University in Kazan, Ankara.
Within the scope of the agreement, Kazan Municipality allocated a land to Gazi University for the establishment of a state university in Kazan and Gazi University’s Presidency decided to build a vocational school on this land at the first stage. This new vocational school in Kazan-Ankara’s most rapidly developing industrial zone- is evaluated as a major development in aviation and space industry as it would meet the relevant industry’s needs for intermediate staff.
The agreement concerning the grant was signed at a ceremony held in Gazi University with the participation of Kazan District Governor Veysel Beyru, Kazan Mayor Lokman Ertürk, Gazi University President Prof. Süleyman Büyükberber, TAI’s CEO Muharrem Dörtkaşlı and TAI’s Vice President in charge of Facilities and Assets Management İsmail Ulubayram.
According to this agreement, the vocational school shall be assumed by Gazi University and approximately 2.000 students would be educated in the school. The school shall be named TAI since the grant was donated by TAI and intermediate staff for aviation and aerospace industries shall be trained in order to meet the requirements of the industrial enterprises in the region.
