The logistics support capabilities of the companies operating in the sector and their prospective studies were discussed in line with the “Sustainable Industrialization and Supportable Systems” theme at three sessions.
One of the topics discussed at the Congress was the way of service delivery by the Defence Industry Institutions to Turkish Armed Forces. The working principles between Turkish Armed Forces and defence industry sector and Performance Based Logistics concept were also considered at the Congress. Besides, the way and method of the life cycle management, beginning from the requirement analysis to supply phase, project management phase, delivery, logistics supportability and elimination from inventory were dealt. In addition, the Turkish Defence Industry Companies made presentations at the Congress.
