Executive Defence Industry Committee Meeting took a decision on commencing  the negotiations to sign the contract with Tümosan within the scope of  Indigenous Powerpack Development Project. This project covers indigenous design, development, production, test and qualification of powerpacks  to integrate in primarily Main Battle  "Altay" Tank by maximizing the utilization of national capabilities and  by enlisting technical support and assistance from abroad when required.Ultimately gaining complete know-how for powerpack design,development,system  integration production, testing, qualification, modification and maintenance.
