Regarding the two Tactical UAV systems that the Turkish National Police plans to purchase within the scope of its reconnaissance and surveillance requirements, the proposal evaluation and contract negotiations that have been going on for a while between Turkish National Police and Baykar Makine finalized on October 15th and Tactical UAV procurement contract officially came into force.
With the contract signed, immediate procurement of two “Bayraktar Tactical” UAV systems that are composed of a total of 6 Aircrafts and 4 Ground Control Stations is intended. Following the 2 aforementioned sets entry into the inventory of the Turkish National Police, the remaining three systems that are planned to be purchased optionally are projected to be procured extending to years in accordance with the user criteria.
