The TEI-TJ300 Turbojet Engine, developed locally and nationally by TEI for the Medium Range Anti-Ship Missile, broke a world record.

While the best of the other competitor engines in the 230-250 mm class can produce a maximum thrust of 1250 N with a diameter of 250 mm, the TEI-TJ300 Engine broke a world record in this class by generating 1342 N of thrust with a 240 mm diameter. This is the highest level of thrust achieved in the specified thrust class with this engine diameter in the world.

The first prototype testing ceremony of the TEI-TJ300 Turbojet engine, which was designed and developed entirely by Turkish engineers locally and nationally, was held in June 2020 with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa VARANK.

The serial production process is expected to begin following the completion of the development and qualification tests of the TEI-TJ300 Turbojet engine, which is designed to be used in medium-range anti-ship missiles.
