Defence Turkey:Could you please inform us about your ongoing programmes worldwide Globally which companies have you cooperated with?

We work with most major Aerospace OEMs worldwide, such as Airbus, AgustaWestland, Boeing, Bombardier, Hawker Beechcraft, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Rolls-Royce and the UTC Aerospace Companies. We are providing Electrical Wiring and Interconnection System (EWIS) solutions on several of the worlds highest profile programs including Airbus A320, A380, A400M, Boeing 737, 777, AEW&C, AWACS and P-8 Poseidon, Bombardier CRJ series, CSeries as well as Lockheed Martins F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and F-16.

Defence Turkey:Could you please enlighten us about your R&D and Design activities

Since the EWIS system is very exposed to change in the aircraft structure environment as well as on System Architecture, in our business, the design activities typically take place on-site at the customer. Our engineers will typically integrate into the design teams at the customer location to follow the maturation of the design and immediately adapt our EWIS system design. We feature a proprietary tool for this, called WDMS (Wiring Design and Manufacturing System), which has the unique capability to integrate the product definition of the wiring harness system with the 3D design and the aircraft System Architecture. Currently Fokker Elmo employs over 150 design engineers which are deployed over the various Fokker Elmo and customer locations worldwide. Our R&D activities are typically applied in developing advanced software and processes for EWIS and aircraft topology of the electrical system.
