Aselsan Chairman of the Board and CEO Prof. Haluk GÖRGÜN, accompanied with the directors and employees stood in silent homage at Anıtkabir. Placing a wreath at the mausoleum, following the moment of silence, Prof. Haluk GÖRGÜN signed Anıtkabir’s memorial book. Prof. GÖRGÜN wrote the following in the book:

“Great Leader Atatürk, we, as the Aselsan Family, came into your presence with pride on the 43rd anniversary of our establishment. Since its establishment, Aselsan has been maintaining its sustainable growth with the value it creates in the global market, it is trusted as a strategic partner and is a national technology company that is sensitive to the environment and human beings.  We are striding forward with firm steps and fervent effort toward achieving our country’s 2023 goals.  

In our technological quest we will be our nation’s company and our heroic army’s company.  Your adage has been our guiding principle: ‘We will obtain science and technology from where ever it may be. There is no need for registration and condition in science. May you rest in peace.”
