Turkey's first indigenous Anti-Ship Missile, ATMACA, has obtained its domestic engine. The ATMACA Missile, integrated with the KTJ-3200 Turbojet Missile Engine, successfully completed its firing test. Equipped with domestic subsystems, including the engine and significant local content rate, Roketsan’s ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile demonstrated great success in the firing test.
After being fired from a truck and launched with its booster motor, the ATMACA ascended into the air, followed by the activation of the KTJ-3200 Turbojet Missile Engine developed by Kale Arge. Following the activation of KTJ-3200, the ATMACA Missile successfully carried out all assigned tasks in various speed and flight profiles as per the test scenario. The ATMACA Missile, with a range of over 250 kilometers, and the KTJ-3200 Turbojet Engine, with a thrust capacity of 3200N, were developed as part of projects initiated by the Secretariat of Defence Industries.
