The first vehicles developed within the 8x8 DROPS (Demountable Rack Offload and Pickup System) Project have been successfully delivered by KOLUMAN. The project was initiated by the Defence Industry Agency (SSB) to meet the needs of the Turkish Land Forces Command.

Commenting on the project, the President of the Defence Industry Agency, Prof. Dr. Haluk GÖRGÜN, stated the following: "We have successfully completed the first delivery of DERMAN, which was developed to transport armored vehicles, tanks, and munitions, carry command centers, and recover damaged vehicles. We believe that this 8x8 wheeled vehicle, with high ballistic protection and high mobility in steep and inclined conditions, will strengthen the Turkish Land Forces in the field. I congratulate everyone involved in the project."
