Christening Ceremony of the second German Corvette K 130

In December 2001 the contract between the Federal Office for Defence Technology and Procurement (BWB) and the ARGE K 130 for the construction and delivery of five new developed corvettes was signed. The ARGE K 130 consists of the shipyards Blohm + Voss, Nordseewerke Emden and Fr. Lürssen Werft. Lürssen designs and constructs five aft ships and delivers two corvettes to the BWB.
