The Light Class Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) Project was signed between the Presidency of Defense Industries, Arox Information Systems, Elektroland Defense and Esetron Smart Robotechnologies. The signing ceremony was held during the 15th IDEF International Defense Industry Fair with the participation of the President of Defense Industries Prof. İsmail DEMİR and the officials from Arox Information Systems, Elektroland Defence and Esetron Smart Robotechnologies.

Speaking at the ceremony, President of Defense Industries Prof. İsmail DEMIR said, “We are determined to demonstrate our experience and success in Unmanned Systems also in ground vehicles. Accordingly, we mobilized our companies for UGVs that will perform various tasks in the operations of our security forces, and offered several UGV solutions produced by the ELEKTROLAND, ESETRON, AROX companies to the service of our army. Within the scope of field operations support, we supported our soldiers, who actively participated in the Operation Claw, especially in border units, with UGVs, which have different mobility systems and utilization concepts. In the following processes, we will continue to make a difference as a force multiplier in the operation field, where our security elements conduct their duties with unmanned ground vehicles of all concepts and levels, with different terrain and visibility conditions.”
