3rd Military Electronics Seminar
The 3rd Military Electronics Seminar was held in Ankara on 5-6 November 2013 with the participation of Military and Defence Officials and representatives of local and foreign Defence Industry companies.
At the opening panel on the first day of the seminar, Future of Military Electronics Technology was discussed and Deputy Undersecretary for Defence Industries Dr. Faruk Özlü is the moderator. Chief of Aselsan Technology Supreme Board and Radar, Electronic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (REHIS) Group Design Director Mr. Oğuz Şener, Vestel Defence General Director Mr. Aziz Sipahi, METU-MEMS Director Prof. Dr. Tayfun Akın and C2TECH General Manager Dr. Cüneyd Fırat attended the panel. The rapid development and the current status of Military Electronics Technologies and solutions were examined. Moreover, Turkey’s intense needs for Military Electronics Technologies and required future investments and measures were discussed.
Development of Satellite Systems, recent developments regarding high-speed cameras required for Aviation and Military applications, safety of embedded coding, design and production requirements for high-quality products of defence industry electronics, Implementing Safety and Security to Legacy Systems, Embedded Software Solutions, Border Security System Solutions within the Context of Integrated Border Management, Innovative Antenna Solutions, New Generation Air Defence Systems Solutions, Technology of Analog Devices, Infrastructure for the transforming Data to Information, High Power Ferrite Isolator for Space Applications, Inertial sensing in the Real World, Infrastructure for the Transforming Data to Information issues were brought to the agenda and related presentations were made at various discussion panels of the 3rd Military Electronics Seminar that lasted for two days.
