Cougar Helicopter Makila 1A1 Logistic Support Project
TEI who has undertaken the main contractor responsibility for depot level maintenance of the Makila 1A1 engines for the Cougar helicopters in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, performs the overhaul of these engines in cooperation with the 1st Air Supply Maintenance Center Command.
The overhaul of 2 engines was completed and delivered to Turkish Armed Forces in the year 2012. The overhaul of 6 engines and 12 modules are still in process in context of the project.
NATO AWACS TF33 Depot Level Maintenance Project
TEI performs the repair and overhaul of TF33 engines that powers the AWACS aircrafts in the inventory of NATO countries, since 2001. Similar to the Makila 1A1 project, TEI also coorporates with HIBM for the component repair of TF33 engines during overhaul. TEI has achieved the scheduled/unscheduled maintenance of 85 engines so far. In regard to this activity, having been chosen “Outstanding Power Plant SOR (Source of Repair)” of NATO for the years 2004, 2008 and 2011, TEI has completed the maintenance and repair of 8 engines in the year 2012.
Maintenance Repair and Overhaul of UAV Engines Project
The maintenance repair and overhaul activities of UAV engines in the inventory of the Turkish Military are successfully conducted by TEI.
Royal Bahrein Air Force F110 Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Project
In the long run, TEI aims to become a maintenance, repair & overhaul center for the military engines of the countries in the region. Within this scope, cooperating with 1st Air Supply Maintenance Center Command (1.HIBM), TEI performed the ENSIP maintenance of two F110 engines in 2012. TEI will continue to overhaul Bahrain F110 engines in the upcoming years.
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Project of TP400 Engines used for A400M Aircrafts
TEI Maintenance plans to apply Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activities for TP400 Engines for parts which were designed and manufactured in TEI under programs in which the company is a risk- and revenue-sharing partner. The “In-Service Support” phase studies for A400M aircraft TP400 engines continue. Preparatory activities towards the engine maintenance of the aircrafts which will enter service in September 2013 in Turkey are intensively carried out. At first stage, it is planned for TEI to do the maintenance at modular level of teh engines belonging to teh Turkish Air Force and provide technical representative service in context of general support service.
