ASELSAN; a Turkish joint stock company, sustain its position of being a reliable source as a system solution provider and a renowned leader of Turkish Defense Industry since the beginning of its establishment in 1975.

In consideration of its field of activities ASELSAN is organized as three main divisions: Communications Division, Microwave and System Technologies Division and Microelectronic Guidance and Electro-Optic Division.

Communications

Realization of tactical command and control applications on the battlefield needs secure, fast, flexible and unfaltering tactical communication solutions. Based on combat proven technologies ASELSAN offers; PRC- 9651/VRC-9661 Software Defined Radio Family, VHF/FM Fixed Frequency and Hopping Tactical Radio Families, Have Quick V/UHF Frequency Hopping Ground-Air Radios, Tactical Packet (TDMA) Radios and Data Terminals, VHF Radios (with or without Encryption Capability), Data Encryption Equipment, Personnel Locator Systems, Tactical Communication System (TASMUS) and Satellite Communication Systems.

Electronic Warfare And Intelligence

ASELSAN provides modern and high-end systems within the field of electronic warfare.

The equipment and the systems already fielded by ASELSAN are; Tactical Communications Monitoring and Jamming Systems, Radar Detection And Jamming Systems, Direction Finding Systems, EW Self Protection Systems For Fighter Aircrafts, Airborne Signal Monitoring Systems.

ASELSAN fire control systems for main battle tanks / self propelled weapons as well as Field Artillery Battery Fire Direction System (BAIKS) and Field Artillery Meteorology System provide superior operational and tactical capabilities in the battlefield.

Defence And Weapon Systems

ASELSAN PMADS is developed for low level air defence of fixed vital points, stationary or moving forward troops and convoys. PMADS incorporates a fully automated firing unit for very short range air defence missiles.

PMADS improved the capabilities of air defense missiles such as Stinger by the addition of the functions including target detection, recognition, identification and computer controlled fire control capabilitie s in all weather conditions at day and night.

ATILGAN, ZIPKIN and BORA are the three different configurations of ASELSAN Low Level Air Defence Systems. BORA is the PMADS for naval platforms, for the low level air defense of platforms namely as frigates & fast attack boats. ZIPKIN (mounted on Land Rover Defender 119 type vehicle) and ATILGAN (mounted on M113 armoured vehicle) are the land based PMADS Systems.

ASELSAN SKYWATCHER is a fully computerized tactical command control system that collects air threat information from various types of radars; produces the real time air picture, and assigns the available air defence weapons to the selected targets.

The SKYWATCHER system comprises; air defence command posts at army, corps and brigade levels, interface units for long, medium and short range air defence radars, and vehicles providing interface for air defence weapon systems.

Avionic and Navigation

ASELSAN provides most advanced systems within the field of avionic, navigation and guidance for land and air platforms.
