Aselsan and TAI Maintain Steady Growth Among Global Giants
TAI and Aselsan keep climbing and haven risen in 2016 on the list of the largest corporations issued each year by globally leading institutions based on several important criteria.
As per 2015 results, TAI ascended 8 steps and was ranked 53rd on the “Fortune 500” list that determines Turkey’s largest 500 corporations by Fortune Magazine. TAI was 61st in the previous year. In the same list, Aselsan was ranked 54th right after TAI.
The “Defense News Top 100” list announced by Defense News Magazine based on defense sales figures of the previous year was issued in September 2016. The Turkish aerospace giant TAI, which was ranked 78th in the previous year and reached up to 72nd this year with a $ 886.5 million turnover. Increasing its success each year with the programs assumed, Aselsan was ranked 58th this year by climbing 4 steps with its annual turnover of $ 1.026 billion.
Lockheed Martin was once again at the top of the list with its annual turnover of $ 40.6 billion and followed by Boeing ($ 30.4 billion) and BAE Systems ($ 25.3 billion).
