CANiK Group Companies and Nurol Makina Sign Memorandum of Understanding in the UK
CANiK, which participated in one of the world's leading and most prestigious fairs, the Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI 2023) Fair in London, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with its group companies UNIROBOTICS and UK-based AEI Systems, as well as Nurol Makina.
Signing on behalf of AEI Systems was Simon Angel, for UNIROBOTICS, Ömür Baç, and for Nurol Makina, Engin Aykol. Under this agreement, AEI Systems' weapons, which are part of the CANiK subsidiary, and UNIROBOTICS's national Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) turrets will be integrated into Nurol Makina's NMS-L 4X4 vehicle, which was launched at IDEF'23.
Regarding the collaboration agreement, CANiK General Manager Cahit Utku Aral said, “We are proud to make Türkiye and the UK prominent in medium-caliber gun production together with our UK-based partner AEI Systems. Now, we are taking another step in this area by combining our strengths with long-established companies in Türkiye's defense industry that have proven themselves to the world. I wholeheartedly believe that we will achieve even greater success by bringing together our different capabilities with Nurol Makina in the future.”
