Critical Electronic Systems by Nexeya
Defence Turkey: Thank you very much for the interview. Could you please inform us about Nexeya capabilities, technologies, products and R&D activities?
Nexeya is a French company, we specialised in critical electronic systems. We have head count of a range of 1000 people, more than 800 engineers so we are high skill company. And we have two kinds of activities, we provide testing tools, it means tools for customers to validate their own boards electronic equipment’s and we provide also some specific on board equipment’s mainly around electrical power convention and distribution so we principally, mainly active is Aeronautics, Space and Defence activity.
Defence Turkey: What is your on-going programs in both on French and global markets?
I can give you some examples .For the aeronautic we provide for instance all the means to integrate and validate the on board electronic equipments for the Airbus A350 aircraft. I mean testing tools to test and validate all on board equipment’s like flight control, avionics and so on. For in the satellite business we are deeply involved in a big project which is called IRIDIUM, the American projects, with big construction of 81 satellites and we provide all the distribution unit in terms of the electrical power and also the harnesses.and if I give you certain example in the defence and naval arena we are closely European program is FREMM for developments of frigate, we provide some critical electronic systems on board.
Defence Turkey: What are your activities in Turkey? Do you have any cooperation with Turkish defence industries and SMI’s?
About Turkey up to now, purpose of my company, It is not the first one but we are in the process to start, we have done some indirect business with some of our French customers but now we are in the process to establish relationship and so we are in the beginning of the story and we are very exciting about that.
Defence Turkey: What are your expectations from Turkish market?
I think that Turkish market is very promising for us. Because it fits very well with the key markets we address with the technology. So our expectations of course we are looking for customers we think that some of our technologies that we have developed in the space, aeronautic and defence arena can be useful in Turkey. But not only we are not trying to sell, we are also looking for partners, partners in terms of manufacturing, engineering, integration because what I have seen in my different trips to Turkey means that we have very strong opportunity of partnership, that’s what we are looking for, partners to serve the Turkish market but not only, to export also.

As a message, I am very optimistic about the fact that we are in a period of intensity of business, relationship between Turkey and France is going to grow up. That is the very optimistic message that I would like to add.
