Engine Assembly and Test / Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Activities of TEI

At the beginning, having realized the assembly and test operations with success of 271 F110 engines in context of the Peace Onyx I and Peace Onyx II projects, TEI is in the position of an alternative source for the Air Force’s needs in terms of engine depot level maintenance for engines such as the F110 , TF33, CT7, Makila 1A1 engines.
Today, focused on becoming a regional center for aircraft engines manufacturing and maintenance activities, TEI is turning into a potential power for not only Turkey but also for the assembly, test, maintenance, repair, modifications and modernization projects and technical support services for aircraft engines of regional countries.
Cougar Helicopter Makila 1A1 Logistic Support Project
TEI undertook the main contractor responsibility for Depot Level Maintenance of the Turkish Armed Forces Makila 1A1 engines that powers the Cougar helicopters and  performs the overhaul  of these engines in cooperation with the 1st Air Supply Maintenance Center Command (HIBM).
NATO AWACS TF33 Depot Level Maintenance Project
TEI performs the repair and overhaul of  TF33 engines that powers the AWACS aircrafts in the inventory of NATO countries, since 2001. Similar to the Makila 1A1 project, TEI also cooperates with HIBM for the piece part & component repair of TF33 engines during overhaul.  TEI has achieved the scheduled/unscheduled maintenance of 95 engines so far. In regard to this activity, TEI has been chosen “Outstanding Power Plant SOR” of NATO for the years 2004, 2008 and 2011. 
Maintenance Repair and Overhaul of UAV Engines Project
The maintenance repair and overhaul activities of particular UAV engines in the inventory of the Turkish Military are successfully conducted by TEI. 
Royal Bahraini Air Force F110 Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Project
In the long run, TEI aims to become a maintenance, repair & overhaul center for the military engines in the region. Within this scope, TEI has been performing the ENSIP maintenance of  F110 engines since the year 2012 and still in process overhauling & upgrading the Bahrain F110 engines.
