F-16 Simulator Procurement Project

State-of-Art Simulators in Operation 

5 Full Mission Simulators (FMS),17 Weapon Tactics Trainers (WTTs), 1 Forward Air Controller Simulator (FACS) and 1 Tactical Monitoring Center (TMC) which has been developed and produced under this programme  acquired the requirements of Turkish Air Forces. Within the F-16 Simulator Procurement Project (F-16SIM) which is initiated at January 9th 2010, 23 simulators having different fidelity levels are delivered to the Turkish Air Force. Turkish Air Forces is now able to provide complete basic flight and advanced jet training for F-16 pilots via these state of the art simulators.

All these simulators and support systems located at the facilities built at 4th Main Air Base-Ankara, 9th Main Air Base-Balıkesir, 6th Main Air Base-Bandırma, 8th Main Air Base – Diyarbakır, 5th Main Air Base-Merzifonand, 3th Main Air Base – Konya.

All these simulators networked to do mission at the same time in the same scenario.

Furthermore, during the 24-month period after delivery of the last simulator, an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) service aiming 95% availability is included in the contract. The first year of this performance based logistic support service is completed with an average of 99% availability.
