Havelsan Aims to Maximize its Efficiency in South America Market

Havelsan attended the FIDAE 2014 aviation and defence industry fair held in Santiago-Chile between25-30 March 2014. Havelsan’s products and systems developed for defence and aerospace industry drew the attention of military delegations of the region and guests. 

Defence Minister of Ecuador; Air Forces Commanders of Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay; Trinidad and Tobago’s Deputy Minister of Defence and many senior military and civilian officials from Brazil, Peru, Colombia, USA and Canada visited Havelsan’s stand during the fair and acquired information regarding the products and solutions of Havelsan. 

Expressing that Turkish Defence Industry is increasing its efficiency day by day in South American market, Vice President of Havelsan Orhan Muratoğlu told that Turkey’s defence industry could not manage to set a competition in South American market so far and added that Turkish Defence Industry products drew an intensive attention of the region’s countries in FIDAE 2014 fair and this attention of the crowd constituted a door to Turkish Defence Industry which presently manufactures its own aerial and naval platforms and in the light of all these developments, Havelsan would be continuing its business development activities based on Simulator and Training Systems in the region.
