HELSIM Project LOT II Modificationswere Signed at IDEF’15

In the year 2010 HELSİM (Helicopter Simulators)Project where the main contractor was designated as Havelsan by SSM,was initiated. The initiation objective of the Project was determined as the provision of the flight training simulators and sites of the SikorskyBlackhawk and Seahawk helicopters to be used for the purpose of the pilot education and it was included in the Marine Air Command Seahawk Simulator Training Center stocks in accordance.
Under the coverage of the HELSİM project, simulator systems are providing training services since the year 2010 until today for the S-70B Seahawk platforms with LOT I configurations belonging to the Turkish Naval Forces. Signatures for the modifications to be made in the configurations determined under the coverage of this Project in which the suitable training shall be provided forthe new configurations the simulators will form in real platforms for these services were signed at IDEF’15.
The simulator systems mentioned with this agreement will have the same hardware and software modifications parallel with the LOT II configuration modifications made in the real air vehicle and the training suitable for the new configurations formed at the real platform will be provided 
The modifications to be seen in the TUS, KUS, SOE, YKİ and BTES systems under the coverage of the Project were determined as such;
Hardware replacements (New MFDs and modified/newly added consoles /panels)
Ethernet-Hub cabling modifications between MFDs
Radar systemmodifications
Sonar system modifications
ESM system modifications
Link 11 system modifications will be applied. 
In the site construction, which is another objective of the project;1 Full Mission Simulator ( Level D Qualified), 1 Fixed base Mission Simulator), 1 unit of Sensor Operator Trainer ,1 Ground Control Station ( Tactical Command Center, also controlling all simulators remotely) and 2 Computer Based Training System (BTES) classrooms are being planned to be achieved.
