Established in 1987, MiKES is the “Electronic Warfare Specialist of Turkey” with 100% Turkish owned shares; of which 72% belongs to ASELSAN.
MiKES is a value oriented engineering and manufacturing house focusing on defence programs with its nearly 250 high caliber personnel experienced in design, development, procurement, manufacturing, testing and logistic support of Electronic Warfare (EW) Equipments and Systems in both hardware and software. More than 50% of the company workforce consists of engineers from various disciplines.
Since 1989, MiKES has successfully completed various programs for Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) /Turkish Ministry of National Defence (TMND) and international companies.

MİDAS RWR
The MİDAS is a family of an advanced, internally mounted self-protection Electronic Warfare system specifically designed for high performance fighter aircraft, including the F-16, F-4E.
MİDAS Radar Warning Receiver (RWR), integrated with Counter Measures Dispenser System (CMDS) provides intelligent control of chaff/flare dispenser system for dynamically adapted enhanced countermeasures self protection response.
The MİDAS is flight-line programmable for mission adaptability. Program updates to the threat data library are achievable with the menu driven Preflight Message Generator (PFMG) by means of in country reprogrammability feature.
The system design embodies extensive Built-In-Test (BIT) capabilities which provide fault isolation to the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level. In-flight BIT verifies proper in flight operation and system capabilities in case of failure.
The adaptive design of the MIDAS enables it to be easily tailored for specific system and platform requirements on both tactical and strategic aircraft.

SPREAD CMDS
SPREAD is an advanced Countermeasures Dispensing System (CMDS) designed to increase the survivability and mission effectiveness of airborne platforms against radio-frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) threats.
