NATO Cax Forum 2014 Held in Istanbul

This year’s NATO Computer Assisted Exercise (CAX) Forum, where battle simulation softw are commonly used by NATO uptothisdate, wasintroduced in variouspresentationstakingplace in Turkey. 

The 9thNATO CAX Forum washeld inthe Atatürk War Gaming and Convention Centre (AWCC) in Istanbul, Turkey, between 16 – 19 September 2014.  

One of Turkey’s leading simulator integrators, Havelsan, was the sponsor of the opening cocktail of the forum. The sessions lasted for four days and developments and technologies regarding the future of military CAX applications were presented to the participants within the scope of the forum. 

Demonstrating its MGKMOS, MÜHASİM and ATAKSİM National Tactical Environment Software capabilities, Havelsan presented the following to the audience of the forum; MGKMOS - a constructive simulation program modelling joint task force operations which entered into Turkish Armed Forces’ inventory and designed for analyzing the operations of the jointtaskforce, Havelsan’s capabilities in National Tactical Environment  software developed within the scope of ATAKSİM project and E-SIGMA infrastructure (Integrated Simulation Development and Modelling Infrastructure - I.SMART, Integrated Simulation Architecture and Modelling) which was developed as an infrastructure software by Havelsan and then used in many simulator/simulation projects.
