NATO Tiger Meet 2015
NATO Tiger Meet 2015 Operation was performed at the 3rd Main Jet Base in Konya and hosted by Turkey between 04-15 May 2015 with the participation of the NATO and friendly countries’ air forces.
During the operation, trainings on developing the joint operation capacity, providing know-how and experience transfer, building mutual confidence and team spirit between the fleets, developing the tactics, techniques and methods to be implemented were conducted within the scope of improving the operational capabilities of the NATO.
Turkish Air Forces participated with 16 F-16 aircrafts, one E-7T aircraft, two AS-532 helicopters andone CN-235 aircraft, Swiss Air Forces attended with five F-18 aircrafts, Polish Air Forces participated with six F-16 aircrafts, French Air Forces took part with four Rafale aircrafts, Italian Air Forces participated with two AB-212 helicopters, NATO attended with two E-3A aircrafts, Dutch Air Forces attended with one KDC-10 aircraft while Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal and Greece participated as observers in the operation.
