Nurol Makina and BAE Systems signed a MoU in IDEF
Nurol Makine and BAE Systems have announced that they are to collaborate on the development of business opportunities for Military Air & Information products and services in Turkey and region.
A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the two companies at the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF). The move reflects BAE Systems strategy to develop its international defence business.
Phil Hodge,BAE Sytems Business Development Director for Hawk and Training Systems said: I am delighted to have signed this MoU with Nurol Makine. The two companies will work together to identify potential opportunities for collaboration in Turkey an in the region particularly around the future aircraft support activity and integrated training systems for fast jet pilots.
“Nurol have an existing relationship with BAE Systems Land and Armaments group with the highly successful FNSS organisation and this is a natural strengthening of the relationship between the two companies”
Deputy General Manager for Nurol Makina Dr.Anıl Karel said: Nurol has been playing an important role in defence and homeland security business. This MoU signed with BAE systems will be an excellent opportunity for Nurol to start cooperation in aviation business where we see great potential for Turkey and region”
