Nurol Makina announced  the signing of a Memorandum of Undertaking (MOU) with Jankel Armouring Limited of the United Kingdom, to localise, co-produce and manufacture Jankel’s leading products to fulfil the Turkish user requirements.
Jankel, with over 20 years of experience in the light protected vehicle and survivability systems market, has a complimentary product line to the Nurol Makina current product range.
“We see this as a fantastic opportunity to offer locally manufactured high specification light vehicle and occupant protection products, and are confident the relationship with Jankel will grow as we work together from here” Anıl Karel, Deputy General Manager.
With a Hunter protected patrol vehicle on the Nurol Makina stand at IDEF 2013, the immediate focus are current opportunities for this platform, however the companies are already in discussions to align further in other areas.
