Following the success of our 4x4 tactical armored vehicles, the new step we took in the multi-wheeled armored vehicles area was designing a modular platform for the ARMA family and the development work for this took four years. The ARMA 6x6 version developed completely with Otokar resources was first introduced in Europe during June 2010 and in a short time we received our first order from overseas. Now, before our first vehicle has completed its first anniversary we are providing a new armored combat vehicle to the same family. With ARMA 8x8 the Turkish defence industry is gaining a new vehicle. To put forth an armored combat vehicle in such a short time that has won the acceptance of the world is proof of the expertise and capabilities on the subjects of design and vehicle development of Turkish engineers.
