Roketsan exhibits at the International Paris Airshow, June 15-21, 2015 at the Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Center.  As one of the world leading companies in missile technology, Roketsan displaysinnovative missile and rocket technologies such as  UMTAS Long Range Antitank Missile, CİRİT 2.75” Laser Guided Missile, Stand-Off Missile “SOM”, SOM-J, A new generation air-to-surface Stand-Off Cruise Missile for the F-35 aircraft, TEBER, The New Generation Laser Guided Kit and Firing Range Modernization Capabilities.
2,75” Laser Guided Missile “Cirit”, A Unique all-up Round Missile
Roketsan displays the 2.75” Laser Guided Missile so called “CIRIT” a unique all-up round missile designed to eliminate light armoured, stationary/moving opportunity targets with high precision and affordable cost. CIRIT, designed as the main weapon system of T-129 ATAK Turkish attack helicopter, is integrated and used by AH-1W Cobra helicopter, AT-802 Arc Angel Border Patrol Aircraft and on EC635 Light Combat Helicopter.
Long Range Antitank Missile System “UMTAS’’
Long Range Antitank Missile System known as “UMTAS” has been designed to fulfil the heavy armour penetration requirements of attack helicopters against modern tanks. The system is capable of operating in all weather and day/night conditions with “Fire and Forget” and “Fire and Update” modes with  a maximum range of 8 km. UMTAS with the flexibility provided by its Lock-On-Before Launch, Lock-On-After-Launch, Lock-On-Update capabilities, offers extensive firing capabilities to targets behind the mask position with adjustable hit point and enabling damage assessment.
Stand-Off Missile “SOM”, A next generation weapon system
A next generation weapon system, Stand-Off Missile “SOM” system is the family cruise missile, with complex guidance technologies and warheads designed to enhance the air-to-surface warfare capabilities of fighter aircraft. SOM is an autonomous, long range (250 km), low observable, high precision, all weather, air to surface new generation cruise missile to be used against highly defended, anti-access and high value stationary and moving land/surface (ASuW) targets. Under serial production, SOM is already in the inventory of the Turkish Air Force (TAF), integrated and certified on the F-4E/2020 and F-16 Block40 fighter aircraft platforms.
SOM-J: A new Generation air-to-surface Stand-Off Cruise Missile for the F-35 Aircraft
Due to the common requirements of Turkish Air Force and JSF (F-35) program, SOM has been offered as a modern anti-surface cruise missile for newly developed F-35 JSF fighter aircraft. Roketsan has also signed a cooperation agreement with Airbus Defence & Space to study the integration of SOM on the Eurofighter TYPHOON and possible future platforms.  Roketsan and Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control signed an agreement in 2014 for collaboration on the SOM-J, a new generation air-to-surface Stand-Off Cruise Missile for the F-35 aircraft. The companies will jointly develop, produce, market, sell and support SOM-J for internal carriage on F-35 aircraft or external carriage on other aircraft. Following the Preliminary Design Review in September 2015, the subsystem design and tests will take place in November 2015. Flight tests of SOM-J expected to begin in 2nd quarter of 2017 from the F-16 Block-40 of Turkish Air Force and the development expected to be completed in 2018.
TEBER, The New Generation Laser Guided Kit
TEBER is a new generation INS and GPS aided Laser Guided Kit (LGK) which compatible with Mk-81(250lb) and Mk-82(500lb) general purpose bombs. TEBER system is designed with different versions to increase the probability of hit, and also affectivityagainst moving target. TEBER Kit, will be displayed first time at IDEF 2015. Also, Turkish Armed Forces and gulf countries are interested in TEBER Kit Project.
TEBER consists of a semi-active laser seeker (SAL), a (body) strake kit that are located front section. Tail section has aerodynamic control surfaces, inertial guidance system combined with GPS/GNSS receiver, guidance computer, and control actuation system and thermal battery. Transportation and Storage Box is used to store and transport the system with its peripherals.
Turkish Ground Based Air Defence (HİSAR) Missiles continue Firing Tests
HİSAR missiles, being indigenously developed by Roketsan in accordance with requirements of Turkish Armed Forces, are leaving critical milestones one by one with confidence.
Having low and medium altitude versions, HİSAR missiles come forward among their peers in terms of technology and performance. Expertise exceeding 26 years in design, production and cooperation in both indigenous missile projects and partnered projects; including world leading systems from Stinger and Rapier to ESSM and Patriot, with global partners is enabling Roketsan for the development of state-of-the-art missiles, ahead of its time.
Equipped with imaging infrared sensor, thrust vectoring system, mid-course guidance via data link and dual pulse motor (which is a first in the world among low-med alt. GBAD missiles) technologies, both missiles are compatible with existing and future NATO systems/standards, providing a great potential of integrally and inter-operability.
Both versions of missiles are highly effective against fixed and rotary wing aircraft, UAVs, cruise missiles and air-to-ground missiles, differing in operational range. While differing in range, size and weight; employment of identical and highly common sub-systems enable a common integration interface, providing a family concept in design and great flexibility in deployment, integration and logistic support.
Under development since 2011 with cutting-edge Turkish and global industry partners led by Roketsan’s technology and expertise, HISAR missiles are expected to enter serial production in close future.
