Employment will increase more than 100 percent with the projects of 2015
Selah Shipyard will achieve more than a 100 percent  increase in its production and export compared to the previous year by exporting 2 Offshore Platform Support Vessels (PSV) on a turn-key basis to Italian Marnavi Firm by constructing them in Selah Group’s Shipyard in Tuzla during 2015. This signigicant increase in employment is estimated because of the projected construction of 2 Logistic Support Ships (LSS) that are to be constructed for the SSM and will be continued in the same shipyard.
Also, the construction of 1 Offshore Platform Support Ship (PSS) is to be exported to the same Italian Marnavi firm in 2016 and will be continued in the Selah Körfez Shipyard in Kocaeli Free Zone whichwas purchased in 2014.
As Selah Group, the Körfez Shipyard will be prioritized in respect of 2015 investment expenses and the investments to meet the requirements of the military project will be made for the Tuzla Shipyard which has sufficient infrastructure.
Selah Shipyard will increase its export minimum 50 percent by working full capacity in 2023
Within the scope of the 100th year anniversary of the Republic, as Selah Group,  using both shipyards  within its structure at 100 percent capacity, constructing military ships at the Tuzla Shipyard and primarily export-oriented commercial vessels at the Körfez Shipyard, constructing high-quality products in accordance with the national and international standards in completely closed hangars and working environmentally-sensitive, modernizing  its production capacity, increasing its export level minimum  50 percent and developing its employment are among the main goals.
Incentives to the domestic industry should be continued
It is a must to support the sub-industry firms and the firms at small and medium sized enterprise status as well as the national main contractor firms in respect of design, production, training and logistic support of the defence industry sector. In doing so, it will be possible to have the intellectual property, know-how and unrestricted usage rights of the goods to be produced and save from the life-cycle costs of them. Within this scope, the incentives for supporting and encouraging domestic sub-industry and small and medium sized enterprises as well as coordinated cooperation between SSM and the Shipyards for national military ship supply projects should be continued.
As Selah Makine ve Gemicilik Endustri Ticaret A.S., they wish success to all enterprises participating in IDEF-2015/Istanbul Expo with the justified pride of continuing to be one of the leading firms of the Turkish Ship Construction Industry by increasing its export, production and employment more than 100 percent in 2015 compared to 2014 which was the 40th year anniversary of its enterprise.
