SİNERJİTÜRK Gathers Turkish Business People in and around Turkey
SİNERJİTÜRK aims to set and develop cooperation in all stages of research and development, innovation, production and marketing among Turkish business people, scholars, CEOs residing abroad and their correspondents residing in Turkey.
Over the past 30 years, the world has witnessed many abrupt changes in many fields. During this period of change, countries (especially underdeveloped and developing ones) have encountered unpredictable and dramatic threats in cultural and socio-economic fields. The main reason for these threats is globalization, which sometimes appears as cooperation and sometimes as competition.
In order for our country to reach the desired level of development in the 21st Century, it is of utmost importance that we create brands in every field by improving the skills and the capacity in certain fields such as high technology, scientific research and domestic production based on R&D and innovation. It is imperative that we cooperate and unite our powers if we want to reach beyond the level of prosperity, which our great leader Atatürk has set for us, to bring our country into a reputable (on the highest) position among the developed countries in the ever increasing global competition, and to enhance the efforts of our governments.
I believe that in order to explain the policy behind SİNERJİTÜRK it is necessary to address a commonly asked question. SİNERJİTÜRK embraces all Turkish citizens who believe in the 66th article of Turkish Constitution, which says that "Every individual who carries a Turkish citizenship is a Turk." SİNERJİTÜRK aims to both receive and give support to every individual who feels a heartfelt connection with our country even if, for whatever reason, they are no longer citizens of The Turkish Republic.
The promotion of every Turkish citizen working abroad is more beneficial for our country than reverse brain drain. With this notion in mind, SİNERJİTÜRK will always try to encourage this. What we have always been trying to do is to make use of the brain power of those who work abroad, instead of considering it as brain drain. As a result of this, while Turkey will grow and develop with stronger corporations and professionals who have high ranking positions within the country and abroad, it will be possible for Turkey to take part in more powerful lobbying activities in those countries.
SİNERJİTÜRK’s reaching its ultimate aim depends on the above mentioned cooperation and sustainability. We are going to create a database for Turkish professionals and a database for our corporations in order to support our corporations’ taking part in export, to enhance cooperation among firms and professionals; in short in order to create powerful SYNERGY. We will be able to form a stronger bond with our people in different countries and be able to contribute to their promotion with the help of the pilot applications of the above mentioned databases.
The countries which make designs and lead technology receive the greatest share from the global income per capita. Our biggest source of motivation and reason for establishment is to see our country as one which produces technology, which has a great number of patents in various fields, and which exports high tech products.
Turkey has the 16th biggest economy in the world. She is also one of the major countries in the region in regards of her population and size. The only way for such a big country to develop is to attach importance to many areas and to work on in these areas.
With this idea in mind, SİNERJİTÜRK is concentrating and working on the following sectors primarily:

6. Medical (devices and drugs) Technologies, Biotechnologies, Biomedical
7. Defense-Space-Aviation
8. Telecommunication and Information Technologies Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Ankara Chamber of Industry, İstanbul Chamber of Commerce and Ostim Organized Industrial Region. With all of this encouragement, SİNERJİTÜRK has been able to reach 260.000 Turkish Citizens in 81 countries who have provided and still providing us great support.
Now, SİNERJİTÜRK is institutionalizing and we are determined to actively support every effort which we believe will help our countries’ development.
