Special Video Clip for the 184th Anniversary of the Gendarmerie: "Fearless"

For the 184th anniversary of the Gendarmerie General Command, State Opera Artist Oğuz SIRMALI prepared a video clip titled "Fearless," intending to provide significant moral support to the security forces serving in different parts of the country and increasing young people's interest in the military, Gendarmerie, and aviation.

Speaking at the ceremony held at Martyr General Eşref Bitlis Barracks, Oğuz SIRMALI explained the video clip's story, purpose, and shooting process. "Ultimately, our goal was to showcase the Gendarmerie General Command in the best possible way through a music video. Therefore, we tried to create a scenario for the clip. With this clip, we wanted to show how each unit of our Gendarmerie works to save a citizen. In almost nine out of ten parts of Türkiye, we tried to show the loyalty of every unit of our Gendarmerie and the passion for their profession with this clip as much as possible."

SIRMALI stated that approximately 250 gendarmerie personnel took part in the shooting of the clip, which is one of the most expensive works ever made. "We shot our clip in Ankara. Almost all elements of the Gendarmerie General Command were involved. Approximately 250 gendarmerie personnel played roles on the stage, and there was an even larger team behind the scenes. Rehearsals were conducted beforehand. We watched at least three days of rehearsals, and then we started shooting. Our defense industry companies sponsored us. From the beginning to the end of the clip, domestic and national products were used. We thank them for their support. In fact, we used the T-70 version of the S-70 helicopter, which is produced in Türkiye, for the first time in this clip. In a sense, this video clip shows where our defense industry has come from. We can say that it is the most expensive clip ever made. Apart from the director and production expenses of the clip, there is also a significant cost for these helicopters to be in the air while the personnel perform their duties. So many personnel came together for this clip. Of course, this clip has a purpose. As artists, we support it. Our gendarmerie personnel also try to show that they are on duty for our citizens every occasion. We thank our Ministry of Interior and Gendarmerie General Command for supporting this clip."

The clip emphasizes pop and rock sounds to win the hearts of citizens aged between 15 and 40 and aims to introduce art to every household. The motto of "We Never Leave Anyone Behind" by Gendarmerie Aviation was the starting point of this song. Dedicated to the martyrs and families of the Gendarmerie, this video clip was released on all social media accounts of the Gendarmerie General Command on June 14, the 184th anniversary of the institution. The lyrics of the song, which were written by State Opera and Ballet General Coordinator Oğuz SIRMALI and composed and arranged by Deniz Bijen RAHİMİ, were directed by Oğuzhan EJDEROĞLU.
