TEKNO IN THE HEART OF DEFENSE
Tekno Kaucuk has been operating in the Automotive sector, White Goods, Aviation, Defense Industry and Railway sectors since 1959. Tekno Kaucuk has four factories in Turkey, including its central factory in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (OBS), and produces rubber technical parts, primarily anti-vibration products, with three facilities in which it cooperates in Mexico and India. We have become a solution partner for our customers by developing products within our R&D Center.
Within the scope of our Defense Industry activities, we created the Tekno-Stop brand vibration and shock absorber (TDS) product family as part of the National Ship (MILGEM) Project, Turkey's first self-designed warship. These products are a rubber-metal and wire-rope type damper family used for shock and vibration insulation in underwater platforms, surface combat platforms and other marine and land applications. In line with the demands of our customers, TDS selection and shock absorption analysis are performed with our experienced engineering staff and software. Expert technical support service is also provided. In addition, thanks to our project-based product development capability, we are able to offer tailor-made solutions to our business partners. Tekno-Stop brand TDSs are used in the equipping of a total of 55 ships within the scope of 12 different combat ship projects, including PN MILGEM, which was built for the Pakistan Navy.
For the aviation industry we have developed rubber fuel tank systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV/SİHA) and Helicopter platforms, as well as icebreaker bellows products that remove icing on the wings, and mass production has begun. We develop light, flexible, shock resistant, safe and high-performance products by creating project-specific designs in line with the demands of our customers. With self-sealing technology, which we have started to apply in rubber fuel tank systems, we minimize fuel leaks and ignition after damage.
TUSAŞ, BAYKAR, ASELSAN, ASFAT, STM, DEARSAN, ADİK and FNSS can be counted among our main customers in the Aviation Sector and Defense Industry.
We provide service to our customers in shock, vibration, air conditioning and fatigue tests with the Tekno-Eta Shock and Vibration Test Center, which has been in operation since 2013 in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard within our central factory in Gebze OSB. We apply hundreds of test methods such as MIL S 901D and MIL STD 810 F/G accredited by Türkak. Tekno-ETA is the only laboratory in Turkey with a Medium Weight Shock Tester (MWSM) capable of performing high-impact shock tests in accordance with MIL-S-901D and BV043.
In addition to structural and acoustic noise measurement services at FAT, HAT and SAT levels, we can also provide engineering technical support such as fixture design depending on test needs. Test requests are received from www.tekno-eta.com
