The markets within which the companies operate, and the needs and expectations of their customers, are going through major changes at an ever-increasing pace. Companies that do not want to be caught unprepared for these changes, and are not content with what they already have, look ahead and endeavor corporate changes. Corporate change is becoming a must for sustainable success for companies; the prerequisite is to determine the company vision, which will guide it through this change.
In our 30th year, the foundations have been laid for the future from this day forward by identifying new vision, mission and values, which will lead TEI through its corporate change.
The future will not wait for us. Today is the only opportunity we have to change the future and we are committed to this change.
Our vision represents our realizable goals and objectives for the future. In other words, our vision is the bright and clear picture of the future that our company wants to achieve in a set time period.
Our mission is the statement of what we do and our commitment that we are prepared to undertake in order to achieve our future goals, namely our vision. It is the answer to the question ‘Why do we, the TEI family, exist?’
Our values guide our business decisions and preferences. How we do business is as important as what we do. Our values provide us the guidance on how we will do business.
Our vision was determined, by detailed review regarding the future of the industry, and the performance of various companies that exists within. Our vision and mission statements were phrased not by a few managers but by a collective mind with the participation of all our stakeholders. The statements were finalized only after a series of meetings where senior executives attended in person.
What future for TEI is set forth has been phrased in the vision statement, and in order to achieve this vision, what we do has been phrased in the mission statement. Vision and mission statements were approved by the Board of Directors on October 27, 2015.
Our vision provides the roadmap for a new era both for us and for all our stakeholders. This roadmap has two main courses that both empower and support each other: The first of these is to continue increasing our company’s existing business activities and the second one is the realization of indigenous engine design. The sustainable growth of our company will be powered by indigenous product design.
Simply pinpointing the vision and mission statements is not sufficient for corporate success. A vision, without any action taken to realize it, is no more than a dream. In order to generate the bright picture of future described in vision, resources and efforts should be transformed into planned actions.
We have created the general plan and our strategies regarding how and through which paths we will achieve our vision, our future. We have determined our goals for the next five to ten years, as well as the paths that the company will take. In doing so, we have employed the same method we used to determine our vision, mission and value statements: conducting workshops with broad participation which created suitable atmosphere for presenting, discussing and agreeing on various ideas.
Our strategies will become a source of reference both for us and all our stakeholders in the forthcoming years.
As TEI, we are committed to continue our achievements in the future, in the same way that we have accomplished so many things since our foundation in 1985.
We are not a company that is motivated by monthly or annual targets but rather one with long-term goals for the future.
As we are moving towards 2025, our goal is to be a company which increases its global competitive power, has a corner on the global market with its indigenous power systems and has sustainable growth.
Great goals require even greater efforts. Our work and effort is to achieve these great goals.
