Watching and examining the world defence needs carefully, ROKETSAN is making every progress to grow and serve further in the industry. Started in 1988, ROKETSAN’s history has always included “first”s to be served to the Turkish Armed Forces. T-107 107 mm and T-122 122 mm Multi-Barrel Rocket Launcher Weapon Systems along with their ammunition (entirely referred to as “MBRL System”) and the lately-announced 300 mm MBRL System are being used by the Turkish Army with satisfaction.

Disclosed firstly on 2007, August 30th, during the celebrations of Turkish Victory Day, the 300 mm MBRL System is again a totally autonomous system with its automatic fire control unit, GPS, air condition, wireless communication and data transmission systems, binoculars, external power unit and integrated INS. A 6x6 tactical truck carrying a 4-round launcher, can fire its entire payload to a maximum range of 100 km within 18 seconds. The Proximity Fuze and Steel Ball Warhead combination makes the 300 mm artillery rockets effective against armored vehicles and fuel and military ammunition warehouses.

World’s defence needs transform, from clumsy weapon systems, into quick, easily deployable, agile, less traceable, more mobile and multi-purpose weapon systems. Under the light of this trend, ROKETSAN has made researches, designed and developed such weapon systems. To be disclosed firstly during the 8th International Defence Industry Fair, IDEF’07, which will take place in Ankara, Turkey, between May 22-25, 2007, the multicradle artillery weapon system is capable of firing rockets at various calibers. It is especially developed to make life easier for artillery troops with its compact concept.
