Turmaks: A Success Story in Rwanda

Turmaks which provides defenceand civil / healthcare solutions, awarded a contract by Rwanda MoD for establishing Level II mobile field hospital with 30 beds and a staff camp for 70 staff be installed in UN camp Bria-CAR. The field hospital was manufactured in nine weeks after the contract and but it took approximately 10-12 weeks to deliver and 3 weeks to install the field hospital and camp in designated area   due to the security challenges and circumstances. 
Besides establishing and installing of field hospital and camp Turmaksprovided all medical and operational units such as generators, water treatment systems, incinerator and medical gas systems. The hospital is able to produce its own medical Oxygen as well.
According to the feedbacks from UN and Rwandan authorities, this field is the best Level II field hospital that they had ever in the region.
Turmaks expanded its presence in Africa and Middle East with its recent orders from Gana Armed Forces and Qatar Mod. Turmaks had already completed projects in Morocco, Mali, Algeria, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, and Maldives etc.

Its specialization is based on planning, design and execution of medical and related turn key projects through out the globe–with a particular focus on field hospitals, prefabricated hospitals, stationary hospitals.

Short deploymenttime. Depending on the system, it can varies from an hour to couple of days. 
Easy maintenance. Since most of the projects are being used in remote areas, easy maintenance   becomes very crucial
Robust-durable the material that is being used and the design play a critical role here.  
Easy disassemble-reassemble. Expandable containers can be deployed in half an hour whereas tents are almost the same. According to the size of the Project reassemble time changes. For example one plus one can be re-assemble in an hour but Level II hospital may take couple of days.
Self-sufficient systems.  This is the most crucial point. Again regarding the place this hospitals being used self-sufficiency becomes very important.
