UGV Project with Ground and Air Mobility

The signing ceremony of the Land and Air Mobility UGV Project, initiated by the Defense Industry Agency (SSB) to meet the needs of the Land Forces Command, Special Forces Command, and Gendarmerie General Command and to be carried out by Arox as the prime contractor, was held on the third day of the fair with the participation of Prof. Haluk GÖRGÜN, President of the SSB, and military officials.
The Armadillo and Bat-Inspired Unmanned Ground Vehicles, part of the Cage Drone to be supplied, are equipped with an electric propulsion system, ensuring a minimum operation time of 20 minutes. They boast an IP53 sealing effectiveness level, an external communication payload, a thermal camera, a 660-gram payload capacity, a return home feature for open areas, a 15-meter indoor control range, 30 meters of indoor external communication, and an outdoor control distance of up to 1,000 meters. 
The first deliveries of the 40 Unmanned Ground Vehicles, equipped with both ground and air mobility capabilities and to be supplied as part of the project, are projected to be completed in 2023. Subsequently, all deliveries are set to be finalized within the first quarter of 2024.
