USMOS 2013 Took Place in Ankara
USMOS 2013 conducted by the Ministry of Defence, Turkish Armed Forces, Universities, Public Research Institutions and companies for sharing of the studies regarding basic and applied researches and system development on Model and Simulation issues took place in Ankara on June 11-12, 2013.
Organized by the Ministry of National Defence, Undersecretariat for Defence Industries and Middle East Technical University for the assessment of MODSİM system and technology developments and determination of the strategies and objectives, USMOS 2013’s main theme was identified as “Modeling and Simulation Technologies’ innovative applications in Defence, Security, and Public and Civilian arenas”.
12 Companies made presentations at 10 different sessions and 18 companies displayed their products and capacities regarding this issue at the fair center. During the event that lasted for two days, various sessions on “Education and Training Simulations”, “Flight Simulators”, “Interoperability of MODSİM systems”, “Simulation in engineering applications: Sensors”, “Simulation in engineering applications: Weapons and Ammunition”, “Simulation in engineering applications: Platforms”, “Decision Support Aiming MODSİM” and “Live-Virtual-Structural Simulations” were held.
