key and sub-industry firms, which will import moulds from abroad, adds to purchase contracts the condition which necessitates manufacturing of moulds in Turkey to a certain extent, information and technology transfer from abroad will commence. ?amil Özo?ul, the president of the board of UKUB, underlined that the only deficiency of Turkish tooling and mould making industry is knowledge and that this is due to lack of experience and stated that this deficiency can be filled quickly and even making money through OFFSET implementation.

Özo?ul mentioned that they brought OFFSET implementation into question in joint meetings with TAYSAD (Association of Automotive Parts & Components Manufacturers) and OSD (Automotive Manufacturers Association), and expressed their will to get support from Mr. Nihat Ergün, the Minister of Industry, and stated that they would request for a meeting for OFFSET implementation as soon as possible.
