Otokar’s Cobra II, Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle, unveiled in 2013, is entering the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces. According to a statement from Otokar, the Turkish Armed Forces will procure armored vehicles worth a total of € 47.5 million. The vehicles deliveries are expected to be completed in batches during the first half of 2017. The € 47.5 million package includes a variety of systems, including maintenance and support services.
The Cobra II 4x4 Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicles stand out with a high level of protection and transport. Cobra II was developed from the Cobra, the preferred class of vehicle and used in 15 countries. Cobra II features a higher payload capacity and internal volume. With a modular structure, Cobra II provides a high level of protection against ballistic, mine threats and IEDs.
