A Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed Between Turkey`s TITRA and Argentina’s CICARE

Manufacturing Turkey's first unmanned helicopter, the ALPIN, TITRA has strengthened its presence in both the fields of civil aviation and UAV by making a strategic cooperation agreement with Cicare, one of the world's prominent Sport Helicopter builders.

As part of this agreement, TITRA, performing in the fields of unmanned systems, healthcare technologies and smart cities, aims to sell Cicare Helicopters in Turkey and to countries in the region, providing authorized service support, conducting joint production and to use these helicopters in TITRA’s aviation projects. TITRA, a defense & software company focused on driving the technologies of the future with its R&D activities, continues to work on the swarm algorithm to manage multiple unmanned aerial vehicles from a single control point, in addition to the Unmanned Helicopter ALPIN developed in Kazan, Ankara. Along with the products developed using artificial intelligence and image processing technologies, TITRA also delivers turnkey software development projects.

Cicare is one of Argentina and Latin America’s well-established aviation companies with over 60 years of experience, producing single-seater and two-seater helicopters.  The company aims to increase its market share in Turkey, the Turkic States, the Middle East, and North Africa through  strategic cooperation with TITRA and to open up new opportunities with the help of TITRA's experience.

Cicare's CEO Juan Cicare made a statement regarding the cooperation and said, "This cooperation with TITRA will create new opportunities for both companies and countries. This agreement will be the beginning of a journey towards the growth of both companies and the strengthening of their technologies, with the aim of producing major components of our ultra-light rotorcraft in Turkey.”

TITRA’s CEO Davut Yılmaz also shared his thoughts regarding the agreement and said, "With the strategic cooperation with Cicare, we have taken a step forward in transforming the manned helicopter into an unmanned aircraft. We will be the distributor and authorized service center of Cicare helicopters, both on the sport and civil aviation sides, for Turkey and the countries in the region, and we will ensure the production of the critical parts for these helicopters domestically in the forthcoming period.
